Zomer 2023 - work in progress - Over de zwaartekracht - waarin ik des ochtends thuisblijf om aan mijn nieuwe dichtbundel Addertje te werken en des middags bus 320 neem naar de Peel, naar Ilse's oude varkensstal op Martinus' Plak, waar het vochtig is, waar het stinkt, waar muggen mij aanvallen, waar een voortschrijdend inzicht zich aansluit bij voortschrijdende inzichten. Ondertussen probeer ik al schilderend, installerend, tekenend en schrijvend (i.s.m. de geesten des velds, de spinnen en de slakken) de duivel op zijn staart te trappen.

Augustus is misschien niet het beste seizoen.

Summer 2023 - Work in progress - On gravity: working period while writing my second poetry collection: Addertje. In the afternoon I take bus 320 to Ilse, who has an old pigsty on her farm Martinus' Plak. The pigsty is damp, it stinks, mosquitoes attack me while advancing insight joins advancing insights. Painting, installing, drawing and writing in collaboration with the spirits of the field, the spiders and the snails. I try to kick the devil's tail.

August may not be the right season.
